This spoke to me tonight, so I clicked it.

How wonderful. I am needing an example on how to slow down, and speak with composure. And here you are.

Bless you. Subscribing, and looking forward to more. From Montevallo, Alabama.

Giving a lecture on “mastering the mind” - this was perfect inspiration & gratitude for finding this abstractly - (when we are Rythmn with life) we find exactly what we need. Thank you 🙏🏼 NMRK

We awaken through our body. "Enlightenment" living a little lighter nervous system.

I have OCD — the clinically diagnosed kind, not the bubble-headed, “OMG I’m so OCD, tee hee hee” kind. Intrusive, unpleasant, sad, longing thoughts that disrupt life too much. If only I COULD consistently live in the moment and focus on my body.

Anyone know of mindfulness resources, talks, etc. specifically for people like me?

Some things are urgent but I feel that our priorities aren't straight.

Being present is no remedy for serious pain or distress..especially when we have no reference for how to handle those pains or distress.

Or just the distress of watching people engage in destructive behaviors..or wondering what you're going to do to pay for rent that can't be afforded or that you have no friends or people you can trust.

I don't like the term trance either because it's positive in terms of how the mind is meant to work.

The problem is the trance of daily life as you call it is not trance. It's a state of distress or carelessness that is enticing to keep going because it keeps us from being present to the pain... Which again most of us have no reference for dealing with.

I’m the opposite. I’m hyper aware of my body. It’s scary.
