One thing I’d like to know and would love to hear Hank Haney answer, what in Tigers’ swing was he trying to improve on, when Hank took him on as a student? His swing and game were so incredible from the Butch Harmon years, what was the new goal?

I agree having watched tiger on the range in 05-08 it was unreal how every shot he hit with the 8i to 4i were 20 feet or less from the flag he was aiming at and his tempo was so much better on the range. In some ways I enjoyed watching hit balls on the range than playing

I've watched numerous videos of Tiger on the range, his swing and tempo is incredible, on the course he seems to try to hit it harder.

A drive that lost Tiger a tournament was 2018 at innisbrooke. I think it was 16 par 5.

Tiger hit a wayward drive and had to reload on the 1st tee in the 2003 Open. That cost him big time, as he finished only 2 shots off the winner.

Byron Nelson hit 12 balls to warm up before a round. Probably made him hungry to see good shots on the course.

The tee probably have some slight slope and the balance is different from near flat driving range.
