It was apparently for Gossip Girl but she said she wasn’t given a character description or project name, all she knew was that the character was supposed to be younger.

The he over acting doesn’t play into whether or not they can transition into more job opportunities after Disney. Most successful Disney actors played over the top characters but were talented and well trained enough to get more roles. Sky Jackson either didn’t receive proper training since she’s been acting or didn’t think she needed it. After all she’s been an actress since she was a small girl which she did it need to change up her style to do.

I remember my mom meeting Callum Worthy and said he was genuinely so nice and down to earth. She sent me and my sister a video with him (she knew we liked the show). Pretty cool to see your mom with a celebrity lol

Rani Rodriguez recently played Gretel in A Tale Dark & Grimm (animated Netflix show). The show is fantastic, and I think she did an incredible job with her role (I highly recommend watching the show). I'd hate for her Fiesta Salsa meme to be what she's most known for, because she's genuinely talented and deserves more praise for her acting abilities.

It's not the actor/actress fault for the over the top acting, but I do think they should also take acting classes when they get the chance if they wanna have decent work after thw part they had

A good chunk of the Austin and ally cast didn't get their start on Disney I saw multiple of them on other channels before they were on disney

Maybe it doesn't translate well into in screen acting, but I can see the cartoonish acting woring well with voice acting or theater, where it's usually more exaggerated

The audition was for Gossip Girl for the character Zoya. The acting was still bad but it fits Zoya more than anyone from euphoria
