27-28 max is fair imho. If Aiyuk rejects that, then the team should move on. Aiyuk is a top 20 receiver, but someone like Cowing and Pearsall will step up and fill the void, and that money can be better spent elsewhere to improve the team. I don't think top WRs move the win/loss needle enough to justify the cost: there's too much talent around the league that can step into that position (like Cowing/Pearsall).

I’m so tired of the whole Brandon Aiyuk situation. He’s actually not worth $30M and he’s turning it down? They really should have traded him before the draft and got a 1st or a 2nd for him. Let him play for $14M this year, try and win the SB and let him walk next year. Make sure you sign Trent and draft a WR in 1st round next year. See where Brandon ends up.

Lamb may get a $107.6M 4-year deal w/5th yr option guaranteed around $28.6M. Aiyuk needs to settle for $29.5M a yr/3yr w/4th year option. His ego is in the way, and no team will pay him $30M or more a year. Chase & Lamb are looking @ 5 to 8 years from now; Aiyuk looking @ year by year, not considering possible injury near the playoffs.😢
