Then we’re straight into Unity and learning about how to apply the Shapes example.

I also get a chance to show you how you can refactor (rewrite) your code in a much more cleaner and clearer way using polymorphism

Hi, there. I've just watched for the first time your videos. Well, I can say this. Listening to you about what you're saying about the topic and the way you are structuring the idea of 'Polymorphism' in this video from step A to Z is really good. You start with basic code and from there you expand and refactoring the code after. In my opinion this is great and a lot of folks here will see how someone like you (knows how to code) is working this idea out. So I want to thank you for this video, because the way you did this gave me a better understanding of how 'Polymorphism' works and can be practiced.


But there was one thing, would you also work out a real situation in the business world, so that you have a 'basic' concept (that is this one about shapes, also good) and one that is actually used in companies or applied in practice? This was just a simple example. If I search for 'Polymorphism, in most circumstances we get something about 'shapes', etc.. that's why I'm asking for this. For an example: how is polymorphism applied for financial management, like you have a bank account and are a customer of the bank or other examples. I'd really like that too. In that case you can see what a basic concept is about and how 'Polymorphism' can be applied in practice.
