More range is critical for camping ⛺️ and towing out in the western mountains and deserts. I will miss the stocks too.

I love I live in Huston, it can be one day like Canada, and the next day in Egypt". I totally get I used to live in San Some days it's like living on the surface of the SUN!

Good stuff!
I think if you get 265 miles now with 50F you will get another 70miles with 70F and driving 60miles per hour

That's really good. Does it change w passengers or cargo? How are the tires in wet weather?

I had a model three performance and for the life of me never got more than a 200 mile range when it was advertised to get 320. I was very disappointed. Loved the performance loved the drive enjoyed the car hated the range.

There's so much misinformation about the range of the Cybertruck. I agree with you that the range of the AWD FS Cybertruck is sufficient. The published EPA range is rarely what you will achieve at normal driving speeds. The EPA range should only be used to compare vehicles of the same class.

The efficiency of the Cybertruck matches that of the Rivian and beats the Lightning under the same driving conditions. I road trip with my Model Y standard range (279 miles) with no problem. In freezing temperatures it's not that practical, though, because need to stop to charge more frequently. The Cybertruck is better. At 32F, driving 70 mph on flat terrain, the AWD FS Cybertruck will go 254 miles on a full charge to empty (123 kWh). That's just over 2 mi/kWh. Driving between 10% and 80% SoC, you can expect a range of 178 miles under those conditions. I usually stop to charge every 150 miles anyway, so the Cybertruck can handle road trips in near freezing weather with care. At 75 deg F, you can bump your speed up to 75 or 80 mph.

I am interested to see the efficiency if you can set set fan speed to 2 and fresh air in at 63 degrees.
I do that in my MX 2016 and today I think my climate consume 20 watthr per mile. Difference between trip meter and energy app information.
Not low auto climate but speed fan level 2 and Manuel temperature down to lowest.

I wonder when a Cybertruck owner will actually conduct a range test based on the EPA UDDS and HFEDS tests at top speed of 59.9 mph with the HVAC off.

for 320 mile range, you are getting 264 ? does it do better if you only do highway driving ?

They are going to have to improve mileage or make a normal truck

High speeds and off road will definitely drag that average way down.

Hi, is your Cybertruck dual-motor or tri-motor?

265 off the first charge then 80% unless you have all day. Leaving in some margin that means a trip over 500 miles will be a time drag related to charging and that assumes 500 miles round trip. In the NE that means NYC to Boston and back if it isnt super cold. Elsewhere in the country it ain't great. Still more than most people need but not enough for long trips and way too little for serious towing.

Tesla needs to get the range to at least 320 miles at 80% charge. Similar to Model S.

The range being advertised is blatant 'false advertising'. Where are the consumer advocates?

Okay, but like, stop hogging the passing lane.
