Create A VPN And Play Lan Games Online Using Hamachi

Older games did not support online game play. We had a LAN party to play with friends. We had to bring our consoles, remotes, games, sometimes even our TVs lol.

So we could all hook up and play games together. For me it was mainly HALO.

But with Hamachi you can take your older PC games and play with friends online by making a VPN.

The free version supports up to 5 people per network.

It is easy to set up and can bring endless hours of playtime.

I remember that we used to really like hamachi for playing online lan games, but then with the newer versions of Hamachi it was never possible 😣🙄

I hotspot my phone's internet to the pc, would hamachi work for me as a host?
Or would I have a conflict with it because I don't have a router and I use hotspot?

Any idea why I can't get this to work with a RACE07 dedicated server on Steam? Hamachi lets me and my brother connect to the network but he can't see the LAN game and there's no option to directly connect with an IP

I have a problem. I can connect with the other person in games that ask for IP such as Stardew Valley, but I can't do it with games like CSGO that don't. I disable my firewall entirely. What wrong?

I tried as you described and tried to play CSGO with hamachi with my friends. Network was created successfully and I was able to ping them as well but when I host the game and they tried to connect me it gave me an error that game is restricred to run on local lan. I also tried FIFA11 with that but in vain. It would be great if anyone help me in this regard, thanks.

Scenario: I live in Pittsburgh and my friend lives in Atlanta. We want to play Sins of a Solar Empire online but ICO (IronClad games) doesn't support or connect anymore over internet. Does this Hamachi solve the issue if I set it up as described?
