In regard to how to do things better and speed up developments perhaps one area to do that is to develop Chat Bots and AI in general that are designed specifically to train operators and maintainers on how to use and maintain that system, such as a Chat F-16 or Chat Patriot etc.

This could be trained on tech pubs, design documents, training videos, maintenance logs, or whatever.

Another product that seems like it might be right up Anduril's alley is a air mobile anti drone system. This could (for example) be used to protect ships from Houthi drone attacks.

This anti drone system that can be mounted on a shipping container and moved by a helicopter so that as a ship moves in range the anti-drone shipping container is placed on that ship via helicopter and then is removed and placed on another ship (coming the other direction) once the ship carrying that anti-drone shipping container leaves harm's way.

One might call this Aerial Transportable Overhead Protection (ATOP) and the process Rent ATOP (a play on rent a cop).

The ATOP system could have a variety of anti drone measures such as you anti drone UAV, jammers, and a missile and/or gun system plus sensors and could be networked with other system to make a mini Aegis system as well.

This system might use powerful magnets to attach it to a normal shipping container and the use electromagnets of opposite polarity for release, thus only requiring a high current for those electromagnets for a brief moment during release.

Given these Houthi attacks are affecting the entire global economy one might think this would not be something of great benefit to the world but a great business opportunity as well!

Chinese are working on a backpack weapon. Left on suspected avenues of approach for armour vehicles. Audio sensors identify vehicle by type. Launches 3 or more mini drones with small thermite load. Using AI image recognition the land attach and burn the thermite at vulnerable points mostly camera and sights to blind the crew.
