I’m a DevOps engineer and I would explain it as mainly building automation for:
- CI/CD pipelines so that when developers push their code, it automatically starts building, scanning, testing, packaging, and possibly deploying it
- infrastructure provisioning that often ties into the CI/CD above

However, I know in some companies it can mean different things and I have had other responsibilities outside the two above.

Thank you for the tips. I'm unexpectedly has been put into DevOps position. In my second week and I'm still clueless. I have Docker exposures but not really on Kubernetes and Terraform. That's a good guidance

There is nothing called Kubernetes Images. And terraform is used for creating and managing Infrastructure state using code its not used for creating docker images
