How To Steal & Sell Ships In STARFIELD - Is It Profitable?

There should be a skill that lowers price of registration by 10% per rank up to 40%. That way its ~50% total value. Rank 3 can reduce price of buying new ships by 10% and rank 4 by 20%. It could replace the silly contraband one (no one wants a less than 100% chance of smuggling contraband)

some ships you still can't steal even if you have class C, they must be locked to the quest or something.

So far, stealing ships only pays a few thousand above the registration. I've even come across where the registration was more than the ships value.

FYI. There are 2 different registration values; one from the engineers (high cost) and a lower reg cost if you go into Menu, Ship, Register. For some reason that's better 🤷🏻‍♂😂

What you all missed is when you steal a ship - you don’t sell it after registering. You need to sell its parts, whatever you are allowed to do so the ship can still fly. Cheap ships will make you additional 10-13k to that small difference of registering and selling it ( which you will do after selling all parts that you can). However, C class large ship can make you a small fortune this way! Enjoy ! 😉

this is completely useless endeavor lol, after all that, and paying a registration fee you make a bout 1k to 1.5k credits, you can make that just buy killing an enemy and selling their spacesuit what a letdown, Bethesday dropped the ball here, it was such a cool opportunity to make pirating very profitable but dangerous.
