I don’t understand why this singer isn’t more well known and famous, she has the most sensational vocals, this woman can sing. I can’t help wondering whether her career hasn’t taken off in a big way because of racial appropriation. Yes, she sings a lot of lovers rock reggae, but her vocal is well suited to that genre of music. I can’t help thinking that, well if she’d had another Afro-Caribbean singing with her, would her career had blossomed much further? Look at UB40, once again Ali Campbell had the voice but the band also had Afro-Caribbean as well as mixed-cultural band members. It’s a shame racism is in every feature in life, I’m British-Mauritian and there’s racism is there too and that’s in my extended family. Anyway, Adele Harley deserves much respect and acknowledgement for her amazing singing and the music she creates ♥️
