Calling One Last Lap on Blue Steel MTB Dirt Jumps on Galbraith Mountain in Bellingham, WA

This is a clip from an amazing day of riding my mountain bike in the middle of winter on Galbraith mountain in Bellingham, WA. In this video, I wanted to get one more lap of blue steel in before heading back to cedar dust. I called that out, and my friend was unhappy to hear me making a faux pas.

This run was really exciting because the line was running really slow. I was having to crank as hard as I could into the line. I got a bit sketchy after the first jump and even took some confidence cranks to keep speed up. Even with that, I still was working as hard as I could to keep speed and had to cut the hip short to clear it without casing. It doesn't look like much on video, but these are huge dirt jumps that are pretty intimidating in person, and pushing things by riding when it is slow makes it extra scary.
