🎥 FLV to MP4 Convert in OBS Studio (Remux) + MKV, MOV etc

Learn how to remux videos within OBS Studio in less than 30 seconds, from .mov .flv .mkv .ts and .m3u8 to .mp4 (other other video encoding formats).

This video shows how to convert any file type from the following list; .flv .mp4 .mov .mkv .ts .m3u8 to the same formats, but the example I show in the video is an .mkv to a .mp4

I also show how you can change the standard recording output format within OBS Studio to be .mp4

This is really useful if you've not already changed the output format of videos from OBS Studio (for example if you prefer .mov to .mp4, but have recorded in .mkv by accident) or if you simply want to test out other video encoding formats within your Adobe Premiere / DaVinci Resolve edits (or other video editing software).

why mine says recording remuxed, but the file may not be incompleted. im using da vinci, also i cant play it says the files not supported

I ran into a problem when doing this. It was able to covert it but it doesn’t sound right. I even tried converting it with another program but had the same problem. It sounds great in flv but sound terrible and mumbled when converted to mp4. Could I be doing something wrong in OBS?

So I record videos in mkv and then remux them to mp4 but every time i do so there no audio in the mp4 version have you ran into that problem and how can i fix it also the mkv version has all the audio so i know i dont have anything muted
