okay, this "let my (someone) a shower trope is really trending now since we had an episode of the same thing yesterday and the day before but a different situation much like kanon and ayasaki-san doing the whole "saving a little girl who turns out to be my boss" trope. nice to hear from ricesumichu since 2 days ago and paul from 6 days ago. maki looks so much like riko from kanon's episode from 2 weeks ago called "My boss let me stay with her one day, but she acts like she's my girlfriend!?" just for having that same hairstyle, color and all. thumbnail feels like it was from another episode.

when her brother came in the picture offscreen, it pulled off much better than yesterday with the mc keeping touch with his ex as we don't see any times where the mc misunderstood (although a few) and SHE clears it up. i have mixed feelings about this with the mc being untruthful and how the story was progressing. it was like he doesn't know how the world works around him. some of the real backgrounds look familiar. when ren sees maki outside in the cold, i almost laughed we had passed her by mistake before doing a double take and i was even more confused (in a funny way) when he offers his shower to her and she barges in without a second thought🤣. on the side note, what did they like about each other? 🤔. and what about the key? did she REALLY lose it? 🤔🤔. how old is maki? we got not mention of that? 🤔🤔🤔🤔. so much missing things here.
