4th of July was breakup and I went into NC same day. She breadcrumbed 3 weeks later with a text “Hey just wanted to say hope you’re doing okay.” That wasn’t a question on how I am. It was her just wanting to say what she said. I didn’t reply. Her bday was the 2nd week of August. Been in NC since the 4th of July. We were together for 10 years. She is clinically diagnosed as bipolar. I haven’t reached out to her in anyway at all. Couple months now.

I think it works only if the person who caused the breakup really cares or notices you're in no contact, most don't really care, even if months go by.I f the person notices it and cares it'll bother them

After not hearing from her going on almost 9 months I think this only applies if you assume she actually cared in the first place. At this point, it makes me doubt everything and the only thing I can assume at this point is that maybe she never cared in the first place which is why she hasn't reached out and she won't reach out because she never gave a damn in the first place probably

I agree to no contact IF you want them to come back. But if you don’t (which in theory, you shouldn’t, why would you want someone to come back that has expressed or demonstrated that they don’t want you?) then you should feel free to express your feelings to the person, wish them well and let them go. Toxic people are the ones that keep coming in and going away to which, you have to put an end to those games eventually too. It’s something wrong with this generation. People don’t know how to express themselves without ghosting, feelings make them uncomfortable, getting too close makes them uncomfortable, honestly, I’m sick of it. I’m generation x and I’m just not used to these new dating “games”. Y’all can keep it! I’d rather die alone with my cat than to be playing these types of games with other human beings. It’s pretty sad that human beings are afraid of love, closeness and expressing feelings because of you do, you’re considered weird lol. I don’t date the dead hunny ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾

I am still hurt that she left me, even though it’s been 9 months, we have a child, so it’s hard to not see her and create space, space for her to miss me, I was so anxious in the beginning, and now I’m just like, whatever, I did everything I could, I was a great husband and an amazing dad.
