Thanks for your review. Definitely going for the NOMAD over the MANTA. The advantages you mention are marginal to me and don´t outweigth the portability factor and price difference.

Dude, when are you going to acknowledge that you are the problem, not the gestures? I was rolling though. You do need a voiceover for. The gesture hammer. The Roderick vs. Artsy Rod was my favorite. Good list.

Thanks for the review! The smaller version is for “on the go/in the field” not the office lol. I have the RMPP and RM2 and am looking for a much smaller version that I can use while on the go. Thanks again!

Really grateful for this video! I'm still wringing my hands over which size to get. I used to take notes with an 11" Samsung tablet but didn't love the experience, so it never caught on fully. When looking at my notes, it does appear that the size of the Manta would be right for my note-taking style, as well as the need to sketch things up once in a while. At the same time, in my work role, I often do walkthrough observations and move around from meeting to meeting, so the portability of the Nomad would be a real advantage there.

Do you have the "Nomad over the Manta" video dropping anytime soon, or would you be willing to divulge a few of the major points you will make? Really trying to pull the trigger ASAP but want to squeeze in some additional perspectives before making a decision.

As much as I'd like to try out the Manta, I think I'll stick with my Nomad. While the size may be more comfortable for writing on the Manta - I do like that I have to think about what to write in the smaller space. The Nomad is also much more portable for me. I think I'll wait for the next iteration before any upgrade. As far as I'm concerned, across all e-ink note takers Supernote is ranked highest for me.

Still personally prefer all smaller tablets over the bigger size ones. They have more mobile use and easier to use on the go. I guess it all depends on your professions or use case.

Ghosting on the Manta seems to be so much worse than the Nomad

Ah, that's what I wanted to hear. Decision made! I just could not decide between the two. Now I think the Mata will be better for my needs. Although I still think the small size of the Nomad just makes it much more portable and perhaps maybe more likely to carry it around. Where in some cases where the Manta may just get left on the desk. But I think its going to have to be the Manta!
And it will be partly used for business use so no worse than carrying a laptop. Thanks for the review, its certainly highlights some points that I never considered being an issue with the Nomad. No major problems with the Nomad, as its also a great device. But these things have to be considered. Cheers.
