A hurricane...developing in the Great Lakes?! Yep, it's happened before. Kind of, Take a trip back 22 years to see how the "Huroncane" came to be.

I remember when this happened. I was only 22 yo and a student at U of M in Michigan. I remember this storm produced a lot of wind and rain for the region. It definitely looked like a mini hurricane on radar. So interesting that Heather covered this event. Great job!

Suggest you look at the "White Hurricane" of November 8-10, 1913. Winds were of hurricane force (almost category 2) with waves as high as 35 feet on both Huron and Michigan.

Well This is Rare Actually This Was Not a Tropical Storm Because It Was Not In The Tropics It Was in The Lakes So Let’s Call if a Lake Storm If It Got to Hurricane It Would Be a Lakecane
