I've always called it "SQUEAL" and I've heard it referred to as "Squall" as well. Sequel, you can tell they had marketing in mind.

Nicely done. Actually you are correct in pronouncing it My S-Q-L as that's the official pronunciation. The popular pronunciation (My-See-kwel) is actually what's wrong.
