Steps:
1. git init - initialize repository in project folder
2. git add . or git add <file names> - add files to local repository
3. git commit -m "< message >" or git commit (add comments in Nano or vim) - commit repository
4. git remote add origin < remote repository URL > - Add local repository to remote repository
5. git push origin master - Push local changes to remote
