Traveling to London soon? Head to north London and check out some of my favourite things to do in London, the northern part. In this guide we cover Camden, Kings Cross, and Hampstead, all great areas with lots to do and see, but especially in Camden you need to know where you're going because there's a lot of crap there! This London travel guide works for your first time in London or a seasoned London tourist.

Watch my guide to Hampstead Heath:

♥️ MORE LONDON HELP ♥️

About Love and London:
I'm Jess, I've lived in London for many years, and this channel is a London travel guide for anyone visiting the city that wants to experience it like you live here. Beyond talking about the usual London attractions, I show you some of the cooler things to do in London, that most travel guides don't mention. Watch my videos and you'll feel like you've got a Londoner friend telling you the best kept secrets in the city.

Mentioned in the video:
Redemption Roasters
Hampstead Heath
Regent's Canal (Camden to Kings Cross)
Itadaki Zen
The Rooftop at The Standard Hotel

We are visiting London for the first time at the end of September. My daughter and I watch and rewatch your videos to come up with our perfect itinerary. Thank you for all the suggestions. We’re looking forward to our first visit there.

Even as an adopted Londoner (been here since late 2015), it’s great to watch these videos and get new ideas of what to do 😃.

I’m a South African and I found your videos last year when my partner and I were thinking of taking a holiday in London. Now I’ve been offered a job there and I’m watching your videos for advice on how to live there 😭❤️

I also enjoyed watching this video so much !! Yes, in Japan, set menu during lunch time is common and we say{ itadakimasu] whenever we start our meals.

Standard looks great. St Pancras is a stunning building. Beautiful architecture I can really appreciate being a bricklayer by trade. Thanks Jess

I was recently in London for work and followed this guide during one of my days off. Definitely a different side of London compared to the city centre where I was staying, especially the canals which were really cool.

Camden is one of my favorites in London.
We always stayed in Knightsbridge but I think next time I go Camden is where I'll stay.

I'm hoping to return to London soon. Although I've been a couple of times, my must-see list never grows smaller!

I went to the Regent's Canal but I didn't go beyond the Camden Markets area. Now I wish I had walked further down. That area with the grass covered steps looked cool

From personal experience from last trip, Parliament Hill on a clear sunny day is great place to chill out and view the panorama of London….. definitely a different perspective from (say) the Sky Garden….. you don’t have to book weeks in advance (…or at all !) and it’s a good alternative if like me heights aren’t your thing (the top is a bit of walk:climb from the tube/bus stop if legs are already tired). Regents Canal would be good but I generally only visit at weekends when it can get (very) crowded. Will try out the Japanese restaurant next time I’m down.
