I installed a stereo in an Opel GT in 1980 at a shop I worked at. I loved the long manual emergency brake like handle you grabbed to pop up the headlights and a damn fine looking little car

for those who want to get a good car, I recommend you all to make a spend lot of time looking for a car, in my own experience I found a Porsche Boxster 2002 with 100k miles with a price of $2800, that was the saint graal

As someone with back problems and can't drive manual anymore, I can only drive automatic now. You do get used to it amd it sometimes is way more enjoyable and relaxing to drive than constantly shifting gears especially in Florida city traffic which has varying speeds constantly. Clutch-Killer is what our streets are nicknamed.
