I work at ulta and we get so many of these retuned, people are usually unsatisfied due to all the extra steps you have to do to get your hair styled. Which for $600 I absolutely agree.

This is minor, but it bugs me that the attachments you had to buy don’t match in color because they don’t have ones to match the gift edition.

I was planning on saving up my Ulta points for this, but I have similar hair to you and can see myself having similar issues.

It is so refreshing to hear a review that isn’t 100% positive. I know not everyone that reviews this is sponsored, but a lot of them act like they are. I think a lot of people get So excited to have a Dyson air wrap that they don’t even pay attention to the negative qualities.

Love you for mentioning the accessibility issues for people with disabilities. As someone who initially started cutting my hair very short largely because I have one hand and was tired of struggling to ever do anything with my long hair, it's an important issue. Cost is often a huge hurdle to people with disabilities being able to access life-changing tools. Thanks for another great and honest product review!

This seems like a classic example of overcomplicating something. Unless it is bluetooth, hands-free, super fast, and makes me a cocktail while it's doing my hair, it is NOT worth $600. Period. Same is true for literally EVERY Dyson product.

As a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist for almost 20 years, I have never liked this product and thought man it is so over priced and you can get a bomb blow dryer and some irons to curl and straighten. And it be not damaging to your hair etc.

I was going to buy one from Sephora next week. You just saved me a lot of money. This actually feels like a scam! Those tiny wands are useless. Why would they have a blue color then only be able to buy pink accessories? I'm soooo glad I watched this!!!

The fact that refurbished dyson items are non returnable & non-refundable, is ridiculous. I found out the hard way. They don’t make that in large red print & when you try their customer service, it was horrible. I bought a refurbished complete air wrap set which was only $100 cheaper because the new ones were sold out everywhere. I used it 4 times & it died. I did all the troubleshooting & nothing. I had to request to speak to a supervisor & was on the phone for an hour, only for them to not make it right. The only thing she did was replace it with another refurbished item. I even offered to PAY another $100 bucks to buy a brand new one, nope. So, I took the exchange option, but she told me that was it, if that one crapped out in 4 uses then I’ll have to eat the $500. I will never buy Dyson again.

That’s a really good point to make about the length of the curlers. It’s actually a little scammy that it only comes with the short ones because people with long hair (like myself also) couldn’t use it the same way someone with shorter hair would.

for $600 that thing should do the job just by putting it in front of your hair, I believe this is one of those overhyped products that are just not worth it, glad you're returning it, get your hard earned money back girl

Awww…I am so surprised to hear Kylie didnt like the Airwrap. When I was loosing it during quarantine the Airwrap was my gift to myself. I bought it on five easy pays from QVC (which was the only way I could justify the price tag). I was faithfully using the Revlon One-Step for blow drying my hair. My hair was dry, thin and damaged. The Airwrap has saved my hair. I can create so many looks with it. I have to say there is a learning curve. I am terrible with a curling iron…but with the Dyson I look like I just left the salon.

I absolutely love the airwrap, I have the exact one you do, it’s been amazing to me, gives me such beautiful hair, and it is super easy to use, my hair is fine and my hair holds for like 3 days. I personally don’t think it’s scammy, idk, I’m biased. I LOVE it.
