When it's played in an orchestra it's a violin. When it's played in the south it's a fiddle. Let's take Billy to a juke joint!

YES, ALABAMA. MORE ALABAMA, ALABAMA has 40 number 1hits. 20 were straight in a row. No one else in the music industry ever did that. I have listened to them since I was a freshman in high school a long ago. I've been to more than 50 ALABAMA concerts. You should have watched the live version.

Alabama was awarded entertainers of the decade at the end of 80s. They ruled. They don't do bad stuff.

HOUSTON here!! And yes, you gotta have a fiddle in the band in Texas!

I've listened to Alabama since I was old enough to talk. My sister had the "Roll On" cassette back in the day. I bought tickets to take my wife to see them in concert last August and covid hit. It was rescheduled to December and covid was still here and now it's been canceled. Sad day. Still going to see if I can get to one when things return to "normal".

I can see Texas from my house on the Sabine River if that counts. The middle of the river is the state line. 😄😄❤️

Yes! Back to some country, this is such a great song. But don't forget to listen to Lonestar! Mr. Mom and My Front Porch Looking In!

Billy, if you ever get a chance to do another Alabama song, please check out “Roll On (18 Wheeler). Do it for the truck drivers and their wives 😊

Alabama is considered the most successful country band in history and one of the most successful bands of all time, they have more golden records than literally anyone, 20 of them were in a row, everything they touch turns to gold.

I have seen Alabama in concert probably 5 or 6 times. They never disappoint. Wish they were still touring.

When i started taking violin lessons the instructor asked me what style I wanted to focus on; classical or fiddle/country. When I hear songs like this it makes me wish I had stuck with the lessons!

Billy ur the have to check out Close enough to perfect by My daddy played with them at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in the 80’s....he was a drummer and would set in, in the case a bands drummer couldn’t make a show!!!! I have so many albums full of pics with him and different country artists he drummed for....he lived a pretty cool life

ZZ Top would argue NO you don't have to have a fiddle in the band 😆

Alabama is one of my all time favorite country music groups. Story of my childhood lol. Oh the memories of listening to then.

The best concert I ever attended was in 1983 in my Hometown of Wilmington, NC. It was the Azalea Festival and the young and up and coming Group Alabama was the warm up act for Hank Williams JR. So a future Country Music Hall of Fame group opened up for a future Country Music Hall of Fame Singer.

I saw Alabama in concert once. It was a charity concert performed on the football field of the high school in my old hometown back in the late '90s. It was fantastic!
