The way the information is organized, and presented makes it so easy, even a stooge like me can understand. Great content. You earned the sub.

This is one of the most underrated channels, great guides and straight to the point

I just wanted to say that I don't watch your channel for the guide (since I already know what recovery compasses do), but I watch your channel because it is entertaining and you have a chill voice!

Mr. Eyecraft, you have my utmost respect with how much effort you put into a video, even on an item such as this.

I’m a hardcore player. This item is cool but I can’t play with it at all. They should make a hardcore exclusive item since we can’t use this nor the respawn anchor.

Item Idea: Sculk Chest
The sculk chest is crafted in a 3x3 crafting area of a normal chest surrounded by sculk blocks. They don't stack and you can only carry one at any time in your inventory (maybe a special slot?). When in the player's inventory, if the player dies, the double chest is automatically placed where the player died and contains all of the items in the player's inventory armor, and off-hand item. The chest is NOT flammable so it can sit in lava or be surrounded by fire and still be safe. Since it's a chest, it will not despawn like items, however, in order to limit the item, no new items can be added to it and it will disappear (added particle effects) once all items are removed. If an item is accidentally removed, it can't be returned. The chest can only be opened by the player who held it

I've seen a lot of people saying that the recovery compass becomes available too late in the game to be useful, and I think it really shows how many people don't really understand how raiding ancient cities works. You have almost the same success levels when you raid it at iron level as you do raiding it at netherite level. You don't really even need special items, though they can certainly help. But if you just leave after 3 shrieks, you're totally safe. And shrieks should only really be happening if there's two sculk shriekers next to each other, though even these shrieks can be avoided with wool. And if you mess up and the warden DOES get summoned, you can just sprint jump while sneaking, and it's no threat at all!

you are literally my fav minecraft channel, all your videos(and you have so many!!) are extremely informational and helpful. And enjoyable, not to mention.

A thing to remember while raiding an ancient city is that shriekers have a 10 seconds cooldown once triggered, which is globally shared by every shriekers. During that time, you can make any noise you want without triggering further shriekers.

The recovery compass is very useful. Once my world was lagging while I was flying in the air. It wouldn’t let me slow down. I was making sharp turns to slow down but I was still speeding through the air. (Like going on the highway at 75mph and your brakes fail you.) Then all of a sudden I died. I had no idea where I died. (My cousins were also playing and they couldn’t open chests/doors or interact with villagers during the lag) I borrowed my cousin’s elytra, grabbed the compass from a picture frame at base and found all my stuff. 5 stars. Highly recommended lol

... or you could - hear me out - write down the coordinates of your secret treasure or base entrance, especially since if you die again, the compass will be useless. 😁

I've actually never knew how to do this because I didn't have enough time to, thanks!

I’ve found the a pretty effective method for raiding ancient cities is placing a bed and a chest with your stuff and a couple of hoes and and night vision potions, and just sprinting around removing shriekers in several suicide missions. Can clear the place in just a couple minutes that way

Can you please make another guide for villagers. Showing how their proffesions work, what is the best way to set them up for trading and how to make something like a discount machine for their trades????

I think a lodestone compass would be a much more viable option for the secret chest function
because you won't have to reset it every time you die and you can have multiple at once, but I guess while other people can pick up the compass and find your stuff you can just be careful

Edit: never mind you literally said everything in this comment already
