Whenever I’m having really bad bouts of depression or anxiety, my cat can somehow sense it and will come running. He’ll lay in my lap, make biscuits on me, and meow all urgently like he’s asking what’s wrong. He always stays with me until I feel better ❤

a little while ago one of my cats got heavily injured and i was bawling my eyes out. i was inconsolable, i thought he was going to die. while i was sobbing, his little sister came and cuddled on my lap, purring loudly. that’s exactly how her brother comforts me when i’m sad :’)

My dog who always usually stayed with me went around the house taking turns sleeping with us and sitting by our sides and spending time with us equally. Later that night she passed away, I’m so glad she spent her last time with us telling us goodbye she was such a good dog and I hope there’s lots of McDonald’s in heaven for her

When I was severely depressed after a break up, my little HerbieBirb (also known as bip child) would lick my tears and make little cute noises.
He eventually passed due to probably genetic reasons, but he helped me so much.
He was a peach faced lovebird.

My dog would see that I was sad and bring me toys. I had a particularly bad bout of depression, and she was not about to give up. I fell asleep woke up surrounded by dog toys and pretty rocks from outside. Those were her favorite things, and they made her feel better, so she kept trying and bringing them to me because she wanted me to feel better too. Every toy she had was on or next to my bed. It was like she was thinking one of them had to work so she was gonna try them all. She sat in my lap and insisted on cuddles until I felt a little better. I miss my little bear dearly. She was the best girl.
