New $4K a Month Trader (Interviewing my Student)

I interview one of my students that visited me in Dubai. I liek his humble story and where he is at now. I can tell he is about to blow up and increase his account and passive income. Right now he's still at $4k but his plans are very interesting. Tanner is part of my team as I mentioned in the video. Henry, a lot of your strategies are really good. However, the numbers don’t add up. I can take 10 trades and do iron condors, all legs of the iron condors can have deltas below 15 and I’ll only win six out of 10 even if I win nine out of 10 wins, it’s very low profit if any at all because the average losing trade, even if pulling out early kills half the wins

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

Started selling Puts now and I'm in love. Selling something that becomes worthless is actually amazing. Can buy into a stock you wanted for lower or earn income. I have found that you can poach last day options as well for some stocks. I feel like people are handing me money. I'm sure it will not always work. Just need to keep it in the right stocks and maintain.

I'm wheeling Sofi, COCO, Palantir, NU, but it's cost me a lot of gains when these companies have pumped so hard. Covered calls are nice passive income but if you can identify strong companies with continuously growing earning's reports the buy and hold strategy will win imo.

With that said, I love selling options still. It's consistent passive income but I feel it'll lag long term compared to buy and hold strategy, at least the volatile crap I'm trading which can blow past strike prices so easily.

All this is favored to bring liquidity to the financial markets so that professionals can more easily trade their strategies which are not disclosed to the common people.
