If the Higgs completes the Standard Model of the universe, what's next? The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 was the end of a decades-long search for a fundamental particle proving how particles gain mass, but its discovery leaves many questions unanswered. In his 2015 Bakerian Lecture, Professor John Ellis looks at the mysteries that remain. Is 'empty' space unstable? What is the origin of matter? What is dark matter?

I'm obsessed to find the "chronospacehistory" origin of our Total Universal Mass, like a lot of people who are graduate to try to answer that. For Me, these kind of lectures are My school and I have the chance to listen to the best scientists of the World so I think that people like me can find some clue to some questions in physics even if I never Been to school ! ( I love to learn complex things I don't know Why

we see ther for first time an elastic colision between two "tear of Geea", last subatomic frontier is strong encapsulated, and inside can be Hawking singularity.? Mass is an physics complex proces and cleary is reflecting inside te infinity. but Asymetry is what give to all esence dynamc and then time. Symmetry mean a frozen exsence.

what is the situation between standing man close to lhc tube and traveling proton light speed.for massless particle like photon ok but protons have a mass.time should be close to slover than earth.
and next one for gravity boson?

Excellent talk!!
P.S. By the way I tend to agree with the journal... "beyond any reasonable doubt" doesn't "sound" scientific. And I mean there is no question about "reasonable" or "unreasonable" doubt when it comes to experimental data. Just a detail in phrasing, not very important.

What's the color of a Higgs boson? Is it blue? And what is the Higgs boson made of? What structure has it? Or is it just an energy pattern?

I agree with what he said about "dark matter "

So, despite the idea of Higgs having been proposed by a number of people, why does Peter Higgs keep getting the credit ?
