Do you believe Def Leppard Is using backing tracks?

Saw these guys in Las Vegas about 8 years ago. They definitely did everything live. Phil Collin looks like he's a health nut. He played shirtless the whole time and was in great shape. He's probably 20 years older than me and made me question my health. Great inspiration. Still can shred a guitar.

It’s very likely that Def Leppard uses processing to enhance their actual vocals to make a bigger sound rather than assuming it’s tracks. There are plenty of harmonizers and other hardware tools out there specifically for vocalists.

I’ve seen Leppard a few times in the last 6-7 years and it would be nice if they do use backing tracks to put in Steve Clark’s rhythm guitar parts. Vivian and Phill just doodle most of the time and don’t play that rhythm. The songs end up sounding weak.

Not to sound like a dick, but backing tracks have been a thing since the 80's and being honest before that. There is a big difference using backing tracks to fill in where the original backup vocals were done by others and using backing tracks to actually cover up lead vocalists not being able to sing at all "Vince Neil can suddenly sing again" hmm... You keep mentioning OLD AGE, dude it is what most of the young hacks are doing now lol. half of them could never sing, get signed because of their looks and personality. the record company dubs some shit in for their live performances... So it is not just old aging Rock Stars!

so what man.... Lots of Bands do this.... They do it sometimes to save their voice / If they perform a lot like one show every night for several days... It is very hard on their voices.... SO It, s No Big Deal.... Stop trying to make it a Big deal....
