The KHL's Corona Timeline

Since the 20/21 KHL season began back in early September, it seems as if we have heard a different team report positive cases for the current global virus practically every week, and that's not even mentioning the hundreds of cases that were tallied during the offseason either!

Given the number of times we have seen this occur over the last few months, I began to ask myself: 'exactly how many players and staff members have caught the virus in the KHL?' Well in today's video, allow me to take you through exactly that, as we explore the KHL's Corona Timeline!

Finnish hockey league ”Liiga” has had a dozen confirmed cases. On top of that there’s been a higher than normal amount of ”injuries” this fall. What’s weird is that many of them have arrived from ”training” and not from matches. If the infected players have only exposed their own team members there is no requirement by authorities to the teams to publish these cases.

i am from Latvia. My opinion is - it is impossible to do 60 game season with this virus and KHL needed to make shorter season. I have seen Dinamo Rigas full line up in just 3 games :D

The great importance of why bubble cities are needed for leagues. Look at the NHL. They have two bubble cities (Edmonton and Toronto) during the playoffs and look how the season ended.

Before the Iron Curtain fell, we heard of the Green Unit and the KLM Line playing for the Red Army team. But, who made up the second line and second defensive pairing for the Red Army team? It's not like the Green Unit played the entire game.
