The late 90s was high-time for the 'hardware sampler' revolution. Ushering in a new era of hi-fi quality hardware, breaking time constraints and possessing the ability to store huge amounts of data with various storage technologies. Many still use the MPC2000XL to this day.. and with this lovely sounding 16bit / 44.1kHz stereo sampling engine.. it's not hard to understand why, right Kanye?! 😏
In this third episode, I'll run you through the concepts of 'Programs' and how to manipulate sounds that reside in those iconic pads of an MPC. If you need to get reacquainted with yours.. or.. ..if you're thinking of getting one.. then watching this series should give you a good idea of how to knock a beat out of the ball park on one of these puppies ⚾️ 🐶
