I can imagine Avengers Doomsday starting in a kinda similar way to Infinity War : We see in the arena all the Kang variants killed by the army of Doombots. The Kang Council can't believe they could have been exterminated like that. Then, when only they remain, Doom enters. The Kang Council tries to defend themselves, but they are beaten quite easily by Doom who, before killing them, tells them "Your doomsday has come".
Now definitively rid of all the Kang, Doom continues his journey through the multiverse with the Sacred Timeline as his objective.
On (screw you, Kevin Feige), Reed Richards perceives a signal in his laboratory indicating an imminent emergence in their universe. He and the rest of the Fantastic Four share their concerns, realizing that it is Doom and wonder "What do we do ?".
Reed then displays a list of several potential heroes before declaring, "We're gonna need help."
