Dear Fr Warner, thank you for your enlightening commentary on the Feast Day of the dedication of the magnificent Basilica of St John Lateran & the historical & spiritual significance it has for the church. It is the official seat of the Holy Father & Mother church of the world. The church also celebrates this feast to affirm our unity with the Pope head of the universal church. My son 12, looked forward to this teaching from the day before .being an avid fan of Basilica's and cathedral Architecture he had already studied and known that the St John Lateran is the seat of the bishop of Rome .and having been there recently was even more enjoying this teaching .

Thanks Fr Warner for the clarity provided about this Feast today. While the take away from today's reading is about worshiping our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, i believe one other take away from todays readings is concerning our own bodies being temples of God's most Holy Spirit and therefore allowing our Lord to cleanse us of the filth accumulated over the years within us. Perhaps it's time for some such cleansing for each of us to ensure that our bodies are pure, holy and perfect as the Father is...All Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and evermore🙏

Happy Feast Fr. Warner. I was blessed to visit the Lateran Basilica in Sept 2018 while on a pilgrimage and it was one of the most serene and calming experience. Lovely reflection on the feast day.
