Helped me a lot!
I bought a second external hard drive to do some backups, but once the two were connected, the second one started acting as disk E, and the primary one became disk F, so all my files were messed up. But this solved my problem, thanks a lot dude.
(Btw I know I am late to the party, but it works on windows 10 as well)

I have a external hard drive 4 TB with about 60, 000 photographs and a few videos and I unplugged it from my computer during a move and when I plug it back in, and yes I plug it back into the same slot that it came out of it had changed his drive letter and could no longer be recognized by light room or photo shop. I was able to change the drive letter through your video and everything was fine. Till two years later when I moved again and it happened again. Except this time is not showing me the drive letter I need to have it shows me every drive letter except G which is what I need. Know what? I have a shit load of pictures I can’t get to or access. Is there anyway to fix this? Thank you for your help in advance.
