Who Are These Made For?

Have you ever heard of a wasp waist? It doesn't have anything to do with stinging insects.

The "wasp waist" was beauty standard from the past. And that's where it should have stayed.

This odd beauty standard has been given a modern marketing makeover and is now being peddled not just as a body modification but also as a way to lose weight.

In the video we will be taking a look and the good (there isn't any), the bad (got plenty of that), and the terrifying (organ prolapse anyone) aspects of this bizzare tool from the past.

The corsets were only harmful if they were worn using a technique called tight lacing. Not all women used tight lacing, but those who used it paid the price. It's alarming to see this kind of behavior making a comeback.

Intriguing, informative yet scary the effects/damage it can do to the insides/organs.
