Matt Gaetz offers this thought-provoking commentary that raises a critical question about the role of prosecutors in the justice system. Why would individuals choose a career in prosecution only to shy away from pursuing justice? The comparison to restaurant owners not wanting to serve food highlights a crucial disconnect that impacts communities. As concerns about crime and accountability grow, it's essential to reflect on the responsibilities that come with such pivotal positions in law enforcement. What are the implications for society when those entrusted to uphold the law are hesitant to do so?

The lack of prosecution could mean that they are complicit in said crimes after the fact, and be held accountable as such, serving time for each crime they are complicit in after the fact compounded, and serve consecutive sentences back to back to back.
