KTM RC 390.
The RC 390, as of mid-2020, is the flagship Supersport offering from KTM in India. It is, essentially, the fully-faired sibling of the naked 390 Duke. Therefore, the RC 390 features sportier riding dynamics as opposed to its naked sibling, which takes the performance and dynamics of this bike to the next level. The RC 390 comes with an added benefit of a more comfortable seat, wider mirrors, and a bigger front disc compared to the RC200.

Exterior Details
The KTM RC 390 is the meanest and sportiest KTM motorcycle in India. Come to the exterior and the RC 390 is 2,145mm in length, 760mm in width, and 820mm in height. The RC 390 has a kerb weight of 159kg and a ground clearance of 178mm. The fuel tank can hold up to 9.5-litres of petrol.

Engine & Transmission
The KTM RC 390 gets the same 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled BS-VI approved mill as its naked sibling, which churns out 42.3bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox. On the economy front, the KTM RC 390 mileage is expected to be around 35km/l.

Handling
The KTM RC 390 gets its suspension duties fulfilled from wp upside down at the front and a wp monoshock at the rear. It is built around a steel trellis chassis. It gets a 110/70 R17 tyre at the front and a 150/60 R17 tyre at the rear. The braking is courtesy of a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.

Features
The KTM RC 390 new model boasts ABS, ride by wire throttle, and adjustable levers as part of the standard equipment. In terms of electricals, the bike comes fitted with LEDs for both the headlamp and the taillamp. The instrument cluster is as similar as it can get to other KTMs, where the all-digital cluster displays a wealth of information inclusive of the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, and fuel gauge.
