Explore the Oregon Coast at Harris Beach State Park Campground

One of the best beaches on the Oregon Coast?

We think it just might be! This was our first experience seeing the Oregon coast from our RV and it blew us away. Harris Beach State Park Campground is a must stay if you are traveling the Pacific Coast Highway or visiting Oregon.

The campground spaces were huge! They had a massive playground for kids, great shower/toilet facilities and best of all, walking access right down to the beaches. You can explore many tide pools, see some awesome rock formations, pick up some driftwood and stroll along the sand at sunset. What could be better!? We are Lance, Emily and Austin, a British/Australian couple living out our dream of travelling the USA in our own motorhome. Follow along as we search for, buy and travel in our new home. Such a change in scenery from desert to the coastal regions! Beautiful! Love the cooking with Lance segment. Cooking in a small kitchen with limited ingredients is an art.

What a beautiful place! My 40th birthday is coming up Jan 2026 and I really want to fly from Florida to Vegas for a couple nights, fly over to Hawaii for a week, then fly back and stop over in Oregon for a couple nights before making our way back to Fl. I'm sure it's absolutely FREEZING in Jan but something is calling me to go there! Looking forward to the next one, cheers!

Beautiful spot. Great video and photography. I've been up and down the Oregon coast but never heard of Harris State Park. I lived in WA state for ten years... pre internet, so probably missed a lot, I'm sure. LoveLoveLove the Pacific northwest. Aren't the berries wonderful? Oh, enjoyed the Cooking with Lance segment ;)
