the granite around me is very similar. after getting used to it, they start to become quality holds

I've been there last month, really nice rock, incredible grip but yeah, also hard for the skin

A roll placement of the foot
Or a step placement

I climb on quartz saturated rock so I do think I would like the sharper granite
