It took 9 years to see a proper design for Summer Rose
...for barely a few minutes.

I do enjoy how Summers design has a more nature theme to it. The end of the straps look like leaves, the rose bun, and the silver rose. It gives off the vibe of summer being like an evolution of Ruby. Summer being the Charizard of her charmeleon if that makes any sense.

Ngl, when I first saw summer's full design on Twitter, I thought she was ruby after coming back from ascending

I really like that they leaned more into the traditional Little Red Riding Hood motif and design.

The fact that her shoulder straps literally have "Gold leaf"

I wish we lived in a world where family heritage could be figured out purely based off outfit design. Every family has a colour scheme and you have to stick to it.

To be honest I'd always imagined that Summer would have more white in her design
But then again after Atlas I don't think the designers should touch the color white with a 50ft long Crescent Rose

They went all out on Summer's outfit 10/10

Also her little hip ruffles remind me of the frills that used to be on Yang's first outfit.

I like to think that the black and white was how she dressed when she was at beacon, and incorporated more color as she grew into adulthood and became more comfortable with her team.

She definitely fits the Mom description because when she looks mad, I'm terrified

But yeah, this is certainly one of the better designs in recent years.
