Bro, I live in the middle of fuckin England, ive got no business owning a banjo, I've been playing guitar for a couple years now, quite easily picked up bass and ukulele from that, but I've just bought a banjo and it's SO different. You could tune the 5th string as high C or even C#. B is the same tension as a hi g on a 25 scale 12 string. I assume the 5th string has a scale length of 19.
