Sonos | How to Adjust Dolby Atmos

Whether you have the Sonos Arc, Arc Ultra or Beam, you can adjust those height channels for your viewing pleasure.

There is no secret sauce to this new feature, just simply raise the audio based on your preference. Do you want the Atmos content to be subtle or have more of an impression? The good news, it's up to you!

Thanks for the video. I’m not sure I still understand from the beginning what the height audio does. My arc is in a room with 13’ ceilings. I have two Eros 300s as the surround. Given the high ceilings - should the height audio be more than the default 0?

Yeah 1917 is one of my all time favorite movies. Would definitely recommend for atmos.

I have my Sonos Arc in my bedroom. I have a ceiling fan and my bed has a canopy Im not sure if those interfere with the up firing sound but I rarely hear anything above my head. I’m going to try this out today. Thanks for the heads up.

Another good scene to test the Height Level for the Arc is in Batman V. Superman Ultimate Edition on HBO Max. At around the 1:19:20 mark where Batman ask Superman "if he bleeds". When Superman takes off, it sounds like he's flying through my dam ceiling.

1. The first few minutes of of F1:Drive to Survive S3 E1 on Netflix is good. You get a flight flying overhead and car movement within a minute that has height to it.
2. Did Sonos mention about satellite speakers with upward facing drivers?
