I moved to a small KS town nearly 3 years ago. I live in the middle of a coop. In my early 70s and having lived in huge metro areas all my life I couldn't figure out how this farming business worked. From your videos I have learned about all the different equipment and vehicles driving around, what and how they are used. About the cows and how hard you all work. Not all farms are your size but when I see something being pulled, I have a pretty good idea what it is for. The traffic here has been heavy for a while now and I understand why and how harvest works. The only time traffic kind of slows is for a few months during winter. I find it amazing how wheat is manipulated in the winter. Planted, it begins growing and as weather gets cold it goes dormant to begin growing again as weather warms. Is it a good thing that the university seems to control the farming? I hope someone reads this and comments. I don't understand enough of anything to know. Thank you for your videos. Incredibly informative.

I've heard good things about the wheat harvest across our county in Ellsworth as far as from the fields that weren't storm damaged. Great video 📹! Happy harvest!!!
