Trump to impose tariffs on Canada and Mexico

Trump made it very clear through his campaign that Tariffs are how he will pay for corporate tax cuts. Just google what Canada exports to the US - primarily raw materials that US industry needs. So, US producers must raise prices, which gets passed on to the customers, making them more expensive and less competitive. Buy materials from somewhere else, you say - well, that is going to cost more. Ironically, a lot of these raw material companies in Canada are US-owned.
