The surgery was the easiest part. The chemo was brutal and the radiation afterwards was draining. It's been almost 2 years since my lobectomy. I feel good. I also have COPD so still have breathing problems but I am fully functional and can do everything I need to do and a lot of things I want to do.

I had a Wedge Resection RLL to remove a Adenocarcinoma tumor. Biggest surgery of my life. Had a 2nd Surgery less than 7 months later. Cancer sucks.

My case I had surgery for aorta abdominal anurism 1st. Them a month after that I had my lung surgery.
On top of all this I had type two diabetes. And HB also 4 years before I had a qurdurble by pass. CABG
Took a little longer to leave hospital. Been 8 months still are to breath at times but getting better pain still have some they told me could take a year or more to completely heal ..Have had 2. CT scans so far all clear 2 more to go this year
