Guys, instead of complaining about nonesense, why don't you think about this in terms of the movie's structure? The main focus is not Elasti-Girl: it's Jack Jack. It's no coincidence he was in the first promotional teaser. So Bob's storyline will directly tie in with protecting Jack Jack, who is the most powerful super. So expect a lot of action from this apparent "lame storyline". That's my take.

“After he’s laid off, a husband switches roles with his wife. She returns to her workforce, and he becomes a stay-at-home dad, a job he has no clue how to do.”

I think I get the gist of the movie:

- Mr. Incredible stays at home and takes care of Dash, Violet and Jack Jack.

- Elastigirl goes off on secret assignment missions for some guy

- Mr. Incredible has a hard time looking after kids and becomes an alcoholic

I hope the entire film isn't some bs stay at home dad story. Thats a very underwhelming plot hardly worth the wait.

As a young dad going through a similar situation I gotta say this will be interesting, IF done the right way. Here's hoping they can balance out the action and parental sides.

Helen's alt suit looks odd, but i like it.

The only problem I have with this is that it seems like the plot of the first movie at a glance. A figure asking the heroes to come for some hero stuff, one parent going off to do hero stuff while the other takes care of the kid, and talk about heroes being outlawed. However, these are probably only going to be a small part of the movie, and they're keeping the good stuff out of the trailers, just like trailers should. Definitely going to watch this with my friends when it comes out. If they refuse to come, I'll watch it anyways.
