Interesting to watch this video after your extensive retrospective on the entirety of 2D Marios.

Ever since the first New Super Mario Bros. came out, I've been a steady fan of that sub-series of Mario games. Even after Wonder's release, I still like 'em.

Something about having a consistent experience with a mildly easy difficulty just does it for me. I also don't object to the plastic art style, but the music could have used improvement.

Both NSMB2 and NSMBU came out after I graduated highschool. Entering my early adulthood with simple Mario romps is much appreciated. Even U Deluxe charms me with the option to choose anyone in single player. I can't say that I'm into Luigi U, though. Sorry...

In time, I will get Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Chances are, I'll like it a lot. But the four New Super Mario Bros. games will hold a special place in my Mario gamer heart. My personal favorite? Wii.
