When people ask me questions (not necessarily directly on Religion but say something which I know to be against my Religious beliefs) which require a definitive answer I give them my definitive answer, which is "that belief is not for me, it's not my viewpoint because I am a Catholic and I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible." There are some key words in that statement, [not for me] [Catholic] [Jesus Christ]
I used that statement recently in response to someone and the questions stopped.

Yes, it's well to turn the tables and put opponents on the defensive, but not so that they would only take flight, but as an opportunity to rescue them from their spiritual insecurity so that God could rescue another lost lamb through you.
