Your phone doesn’t appear in your dreams because you don’t see your phone when you’re on it, but rather the video/game/whatever that the phone is displaying. It’s for the same reason that when you remember tense scenes in a show or movie you won’t remember what was going on around you or even that you were watching it on whatever kind of screen you watched it on, just the tense scene.

Edit: obviously, if you do see your phone in your dreams then this doesn’t apply to you 🤦‍♂️

the reason phones never show up, is because you are either talking to them 'face to face' and you are probably doing other stuff so no need for a phone
