So glad I started using the 8 string version of this as my main tuning. It's such a fresh way of writing music when I was stuck in a rut for a while.
For those unaware, the 8 string version just adds a low F, making it F Bb F Bb Eb F Bb Eb

I’m the same way with the mutes. I do my best to pick hard and make the attack pronounced, but I generally like a loud, long decay as well.

Gods it sounds so good, I just really wish it was more presentable on the track, so lost in the mix. Literally the only issue with the song, it's amazing all around, just that mix!

I love metal, but if I didn’t see his fingers moving, I couldn’t tell you if he was playing anything other than an open string... I’ve tuned waaay lower than Bb and still made all my notes stand out. Guess this style just isn’t for me
