How To Make a Paper Transforming Ninja Star - Origami

Paper: printer paper / dimension paper (or origami paper)
Size: 9cm x 9 cm or 3.5 in. x 3.5 in.

In this tutorial I teach you how to fold the Transforming Ninja Star or Shuriken (designed by Robert Neale). It is a modular origami model which means that you can make the transforming ninja star by interlocking the units together.

All you need is 8 small square sheets of paper. I am using paper size 9cm x 9cm. If you use printer paper just make the printer paper into a square and split it into 4 pieces.

I watched this back in elementary school and this is what got me into origami. Now here i am in highschool making these big origami pieces and making things for other people and this very origami project as a favorite! I've made at least 150 and plan on making so much more. This is an amazing tutorial and I'm glad i found it all those years ago

I wish tutorials like this were around when i was little. My short term memory was practically nonexistent so I would often need things repeated many many times & done very slowly. Trying to ask other kiddos to teach me how to make things like this was beyond frustrating on both sides. XD Glad I can finally make one. :3
